5 sleep routines that make us shine




We spend big part of our day on masks, cleansing our skin, and applying essential creams. Why not add night time into our beauty routine? With the following five tips, we 'll do exactly that. We'll make sure that we have the best quality of sleep so that we wake up like queens!

1. Sleep with your head elevated
A couple of extra pillows are enough to raise your head significantly higher, helping you sleep more comfortably. And rest is one of the main things that makes us shine in the morning (there's also something else that comes to mind, but it's not on this list!)

2. Good hydration

The skin doesn't sleep. While we rest, it goes through the necessary processes to regenerate and make us glow in the morning. Give it a little help with a moisturizer and a glass of water, just before bed.





3. Make a braid

Friction on the pillow causes static and breaks the hair. A good solution to this is to braid your hair, so that you don’t need anything more than a simple run-through with your fingers in the morning.

4. Replace a day's routine with a night mask. 

Once  a week, replace your moisturizing creams with a mask (store-bought or DIY) that will stay on your skin all night — or at least as long as it is possible depending on how active you are while you sleep. Important note: Place a soft towel on your pillow so that you won't share the mask with it.

5. Eat properly before bed

No need for next day's puffiness or fatigue from a sleepless night ? So, before bed, make sure to eat something healthy, and light, fruits preferably, that will hydrate you more. And if possible, avoid alcohol like the devil avoids kindness, unless you want to look like a confused panda bear the next day.
