Five romantic comedies with strong summer vibes


Summer is just a few days away, and it's time to ditch those blankets and say our goodbyes to cocooning. But will we ever say goodbye to a movie night? Of course not! Even without the coziness of blankets you can still lounge on your couch and enjoy your favorite rom-coms, especially when they have such strong summer vibes, like those I m suggesting bellow!





"Love & Friendship" (2016) - Based on the novel by Jane Austen that is set in the 1790's, this romantic comedy follows the adventures of Lady Susan Vernon as she seeks a wealthy match for her only daughter, Frederica, and a wealthy husband for herself, and all these during the summer. The movie features a witty and charming script, with plenty of romance and humor.



"Summer days, Summer Nights" (2018) - This romantic drama  follows a group of friends reuniting for a summer weekend in the Hamptons. As they navigate their relationships, careers, and personal struggles, they confront the complexities of adulthood and the passing of time. 


Fool's Gold (2008) - Starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, this movie follows a treasure hunter and his former lover as they reunite during a summer of adventure and romance. The movie features stunning ocean landscapes, thrilling action sequences, and witty banter between the two leads. 


To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018) - This Netflix original film takes place during the summer and follows a high school girl who writes letters to her crushes, only to have them accidentally sent out. The movie stars Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, and Janel Parrish.


Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) - This film takes place during the summer and follows a man who is recently divorced and learns how to navigate the dating world with the help of a smooth-talking bachelor. The movie stars Steve Carell, Emma Stone, and Ryan Gosling.
